Eleven Iraqi policemen, gunmen killed in clashes near Baquba
 (KUNA) -- Eleven Iraqi policemen and armed men were killed in clashes near Baquba city in the northeast of Baghdad Thursday, an Iraqi police source said. The Iraqi police launched a big military operation this morning against insurgents in Maradia town and nearby villages, the source said in press remarks. The police forces were confronted with a fierce opposition from the armed men resulting in the killing of six policeman and five of the insurgents, as well as injuring some 10 others.
