French court convicts Moroccan man on terror plot
 A French court on Thursday convicted a Moroccan man on terror charges for his role in a thwarted bomb plot on the Indian Ocean island of La Reunion in 2003. Karim Mehdi, 37, received a nine-year prison sentence in Paris criminal court, and was ordered be barred from France afterward.
