To all vessels in the Gulf of Oman, Arabian Sea, Gulf of Aden, Indian Ocean Please keep a lookout for a Reported Stolen Vessel: Pictures of Snow White here Vessel Name: SNOW WHITE (ex-Daeyang No. 93) Color: Black Hull/white accommodation/superstructure Flag: Panama Type: Chemical Tanker Call Sign: HO3356 Length: 69 meters Beam: 10.5 meters Draft: 4.8 meters IMO #: 8031639 Gross Tons: 763 Average Crew Height: 1.2 meters The vessel departed Sharjah, UAE on 19 October 2006 with a cargo of Marine Gas Oil (MGO) en route to tuna fishing grounds in the Indian Ocean - approximately 200 NMs south of Salalah, Oman. The vessel is reported missing, with the last contact on 21 October 2006, and its last known in the vicinity of Al Had, Oman. The owner reports the master and crew have taken over the vessel with intent of selling the cargo and sailing to South Korea. The Master is purportedly negotiating with owner payment for return of the vessel. I guess the crew can't eat the oil The Owner believes vessel may still be IVO Omani coast.
