Foreign NGOs banned on Pak-Afghan border
In a significant move some relief and welfare organisations funded by foreign countries have been asked to stop their work in areas along the Pak-Afghan border, near Sadda in Kurram Agency. Reliable sources said yesterday that the relief organisations had been functioning on both sides of the border, in Pakistan's Kurram Agency and in Shehr-e-Nau in Afghanistan and are suspected to be having links with the Taleban militia and Al Qaeda network.
