Tariq was arrested in Dhaka Sep 16 by the Bangladesh Rapid Action Force that charged him with possession of fake documents and of being an agent of India's Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). He was remanded in police custody in Bangladesh for a month and following his deportation to India he is now lodged at the Tihar Jail here after Indian security agencies said he had links with the LeT. His counsel told the court that the charges against him were false and police had not been able to prove them.| "Yer honor, my client's too sexy for this court!" |
