Teheran finds Russias enrichment proposal attractive
MOSCOW - Teheran considers a proposal to enrich uranium for Iranian use on Russian soil attractive, Iranian Ambassador to Russia Gholamreza Ansari said Wednesday, the news agency Interfax reported.
Irans rulers are ready to discuss the proposal, the ambassador said, provided Russia clarify certain details of its proposal. A few points have to be cleared up, Ansari said, adding they included Irans role in the financing and marketing of the project, as well as what sort of technological support Teheran would offer.
Russias Foreign Affairs Ministry did not immediately comment.
