Two 'Islamic militants' held with explosives
NEW DELHI: Two suspected Islamic militants were arrested in the Indian capital on Wednesday with explosives and a large amount of cash, media reports said. The two men, from Indian-held Kashmir, were arrested in a shopping centre in a northwestern suburb of New Delhi, Deputy Commissioner of Police Alok Kumar told the Press Trust of India news agency. The men were carrying 1.5 kilograms of high-grade explosives, two timers and 250,000 rupees, Kumar said. The men are suspected members of Lashkar-e-Taiba militant group, he said, adding that police was currently interrogating them.
