 Gunbattle breaks out in Gaza city as police try to arrest militant IBRAHIM BARZAK GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) - Palestinian intelligence officers trying to arrest a Hamas-linked militant Thursday morning came under a hail of gunfire in a Gaza City neighbourhood in a battle that wounded three police officers and underscored the growing violence between rival Palestinian groups in Gaza. The arrest came in connection with the killing Monday of the three young children of a Palestinian security chief allied with Fatah, an attack that sparked a new round of internal Palestinian violence and damaged efforts to form a national unity government between the rival Fatah and Hamas groups.
