Bangladesh appoints new poll chief
 Bangladesh appointed a new election chief Sunday nearly a month after national elections were cancelled following accusations of vote-rigging. Former top bureaucrat A.T.M Shamsul Huda has been appointed as the new chief election commissioner, the government said in a statement.
