Iraqi forces arrest nine people involved in attack against Shiites
(KUNA) -- Iraqi security forces arrested Thursday nine people involved in an attack against Shiite pilgrims in south of Baghdad yesterday, an official said.The security forces captured "nine terrorists accused of involvement in the attack against the Shiite pilgrims in the areas of Mahdiya and Dora," Brigadier Qassem Ata, spokesman of the Law Enforcement Plan, said in a statement. Thirteen people were killed when they came under fire in Dora. The shooting followed a car bomb attack.
