Seven Iraqis killed, 23 injured in attacks in Baghdad
(KUNA) -- Seven Iraqis were killed and 23 others were injured in mortar attacks Tuesday in different parts of the capital, Baghdad, a security source said. The source said in press remarks two mortar shells fell near Jawadain school in Kadhmiya neighborhood causing serious injuries to three Iraqis.

Seven civilians were killed and 20 injured when three mortar shells hit Abu Dushair area in Doura neighborhood in southern Baghdad, said the source. The source, meanwhile, said unknown gunmen killed Captain Hussein Abdulilah, an official in the interior ministry's intelligence department, in Al-Mansour area in Baghdad.
