Six dead in Kashmir blast
A bomb has killed at least six people and injured 25 others in Indian-administered Kashmir. The device exploded at a fruit market in the summer capital Srinagar, reportedly as an army convoy drove by. Two of those who died are said to have been blown apart by the force of the explosion, and Indian officials said the death toll could rise further. Indian troops sealed off the area after people living nearby left their homes in panic or to search for relatives.
