Love marriage costs couple their lives
LAHORE: A woman was allegedly killed by her father, brother and a close relative for marrying the man of her choice, in the China Scheme area of Gujjarpura on Saturday night. The alleged killers also shot dead Neelams husband Abid and her brother-in-law Asif.According to Gujjarpura police, Abid and Sahbnam fled their native district of Narowal after a reported love marriage. They shifted to Lahore, and had been living in China Scheme for a month. On Saturday night, the girls father Ashraf, brother Yasir and a relative identified as Sahahzad broke into Neelams house, and killed all the residents: Neelam, Abid and Asif.
