Tom Tancredo Announces '08 Presidential Bid
 Colorado Republican Representative Tom Tancredo made it official Monday morning, announcing his bid for President of the United States. Tancredo, a Denver native, made the announcement during a radio appearance in Des Moines, Iowa. Iowa holds the nations first political caucuses, which will take place in January 2008. Tancredo is among the most vocal advocates in Congress on the issue of securing the United States border with Mexico and cracking down on illegal immigration.
