Landmine blast kills Pakistani official
 QUETTA, Pakistan - A Pakistani government employee was killed in a landmine blast as he repaired an electricity pylon that was blown up by militants in the countrys restive southwest, officials said on Wednesday. The junior official from the state-run Water and Power Development Authority died late Tuesday in Bolan town, 70 kilometers (27 miles) south of Quetta, company executive Shafiq Khattak told AFP.Militants had blown up the four pylons in Bolan early this week, suspending electricity to much of the gas-rich but revolt-hit province of Baluchistan.
