US forces surround Kazemein in Iraq
 US forces in Iraq have completely surrounded Kazemein province [district] in Baghdad after carrying out an incursion according to Iranian sources. US forces carried out a raid on the Sadr office in Kazemein and following a clash with al-Mahdi forces encircling the area. According to eye-witnesses, four civilians were killed in the US attacks.
