Baghdad car bomb kills 25, injures 60
Twenty-five people were killed and as many as 60 were wounded when a car bomb exploded in the commercial district of Amil in Baghdad. The bomb blast in the Shiite-dominated neighbourhood occurred at around 10am on Tuesday. The deadly explosion damaged a nearby medical centre.Earlier, in the Khadra neighbourhood two policemen from the major crimes unit were killed and a third injured when gunmen in two cars ambushed the car they were travelling in.
