Russia requests extraordinary CFE Treaty conference.
Russia asked the depositary of the Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE) Treaty the government of the Netherlands to call an extraordinary conference of the member states in Vienna on June 12-15.The appeal is one of the measures aimed at realising the policy with regard to the CFE Treaty stated in Russian President Vladimir Putins Address to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, a Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
