Somalia: Explosion rocks the capital
 (SomaliNet) A huge explosion apparently targeting on government positions has occurred in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia late Saturday. A deafening sound of a bomb blast could be heard around 12:50 pm local time near the presidential compound housing many top officials in the transitional federal government. The explosion was followed minutes of gunfire. The blast seemed to be an attack aimed at the government soldiers in the area.
