LT commander among 3 killed in Kashmir
 A top rebel leader and two other suspected militants were killed on Monday in a gunbattle with Indian forces in Indian-controlled Kashmir, police said. Acting on a tip, police raided the village of Chewdara and killed the three suspected militants in a gunbattle, said local police chief Ashiq Bukhari. He said one of the dead men was one of the top four field commanders of Lashkar-e-Tayyaba. Bukhari identified the man as Furqan and said he was a Pakistani national active in Indian Kashmir for the last eight years.
