National Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Amir Hussain on Thursday formally accepted the resignation of MMA President Qazi Hussain Ahmed.

Qazis NA seat in Nowshera has been declared vacant and the assembly secretariat has informed the Election Commission about his resignation. The EC will later announce the schedule for a by-election on the vacant seat.
