Man shot dead by Thai terrorists
In the latest reports of violence in the south, a man was killed after his attackers reportedly fired several shots at him in Yala’s Banang Sata district on Monday night.

The 61-year-old man, identified as Arwae Lateh, was said to have been the father of a Muslim religious leader and had been on his way home from the mosque. According to witnesses, the man was attacked by three to five unidentified men who fired shots at him at point-blank range. They later escaped on a motorcycle.

Authorities are investigating who or which group was responsible for the brutal murder, but initially suspect that it was the work of terrorists insurgents trying to stir up unrest in the region.
