Sadjaya is gone. Did he fall or was he pushed?
Georgia's top security official committed suicide on Monday amid allegations of involvement in undercover dealings. Nugzar Sadjaya, Secretary of the National Security Council, was found in his office with two bullet wounds to the head. He was taken to hospital but died on the operating table.
Sadjaya was often referred to as a ''grey cardinal'' because of his closeness to President Eduard Shevardnadze. He was thrown into the limelight last week when an opposition parliament deputy accused him of involvement in a series of high-profile assassinations. His reputation in traditionalist Georgia suffered a further blow when a former defence minister said Sadjaya was homosexual.
TWO bullet wounds to his head? And it was a suicide? One of the wounds musta been pretty light. Or maybe he had help.
