Coalition forces kill nine terrorists, detain eight while disrupting criminal network
 Coalition forces conducted an operation to detain criminals involved in murder, kidnapping, IED and mortar attacks and weapons smuggling. The operation targeted a network in East Baghdad and resulted in nine armed terrorists killed and eight captured.Precise fire support from aircraft destroyed a dump truck being used by the terrorists. There were no Iraqi Security Forces or Coalition forces casualties as a result of the raid. Coalition forces continue to respect Muqtada al Sadrs declaration to stop attacks and the restraint shown by his faithful followers, who are honoring this directive. Those who do not honor Sadrs pledge and continue attacks are criminals, and we will take the actions necessary to stop them and protect the Iraqi people, said Maj.
