Dan Rather sues CBS, Viacom for $70M
Hey, it worked for Imus...NEW YORK - Former CBS news anchor Dan Rather filed a $70 million lawsuit Wednesday against the network, former corporate parent Viacom Inc., and three of his former bosses. And all he did was insult some chick basketball players. Since I slandered a president, I should get much more... Rather's complaint stems from "CBS' intentional mishandling" of the aftermath of a discredited story about President George W. Bush's time in the Texas Air National Guard. So CBS intentionally mishandled your discredited story that you intentionally mishandled? Baliff! Whack his peepee!
