via an lgf commenter; EFL.Eight al-Qaida suspects were killed, and another 18 were captured in the Oct. 2 raid. Thus far, Pakistani officials have declined to identify any of the suspects by name. "There is a probability which I cannot confirm that a man among those killed was one who has a reward on his head," said Pakistani Information Minister Sheik Rashid Ahmed. "He was one of the top 10 or 15 people in al-Qaida." One suspected al-Qaida member with a $5 million reward for his arrest, is the remaining Portland Seven suspect Habis Abdu al Saoub. Al Saoub, a United States citizen is believed to have lived in the Portland area prior to September 11, 2001. At a press conference Thursday afternoon, US Attorney General John Ashcroft said he could not comment on the whereabouts of al Saoub. Well, the reward part fits but "top 10 or 15"?
