NWFP govt calls for army's help
The NWFP government has called for the armys help to fight terrorism in Swat district, a private channel reported on Tuesday. According to Dawn News, the NWFP government has identified 12 sensitive areas in Swat district needing tight security to sustain law and order. NWFP Chief Minister Akram Durrani has written a letter to law enforcement agencies requesting the deployment of more troops in these areas, the channel reported. Contingents of the army might be deployed along with the police and FC there.
