British letter-bomber sentenced to 5 years
A man who wounded eight people during a letter-bomb campaign in Britain earlier this year was sentenced Friday to at least five years in prison. Miles Cooper, 27, of Cambridge, England, had acknowledged sending the devices to protest Britain's "authoritarian" government, but pleaded innocent because he said he had not intended to hurt anyone.
