23-yr-old Japanese man detained in S.E. Iran
TEHRAN (AP) - (Kyodo) A 23-year-old Japanese man has been detained in southeastern Iran, according to word reaching the Japanese Embassy in Tehran on Wednesday. The embassy, which is still investigating the details, has yet to reveal the man's identity. The incident comes after a series of kidnapping cases in southern Iran in recent years that were targeting foreigners.
