Ian Murray, "The Corner," National ReviewAs for the impending laurel wreath, am I the only one who finds it depressing that, while past laureates like Mother Teresa and Albert Schweizer spent decades working with the poor in terrible conditions, Gore wins for making a movie? Moreover, a movie of himself giving a lecture? Moreover, a movie whose upshot is that the poor in Calcutta and West Africa should be denied access to the energy that can lift them out of poverty?
