Tribal violence kills 8 in Indonesia
 Rival tribes armed with bows and arrows clashed close to a US-owned gold mine in Indonesia's Papua region, killing eight people, media reports said Thursday. At least 19 others were injured in the fighting Wednesday, The Jakarta Post and other media reported. Authorities in the remote region in eastern Indonesia were not immediately available for comment. The fighting broke out in villages close to a giant gold and copper mine operated by Freeport-McMoRan Copper and Gold Mine Inc. Production at the mine was not effected, the reports said.
