Terrorist attacks kill eight, injure 13 in Iraq
(KUNA) -- A total of eight Iraqis, including a nurse and a policeman, were killed and 13 others were injured on Friday by separate attacks in northern Iraq's Kirkuk.Speaking to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), a police source said six persons were killed and five others were injured by a blast in Kirkuk's Al-Adheem district. He added that hospital nurse, Faheemah Mohammad, was killed en route to a medical center after being shot at. A blast resulted in the death of a police officer, as well as injuring another policeman and a civilian, he noted. Another blast, he said, injured four cops, adding that two others were injured by a later explosion.
