Leahy to Vote Against Mukasey
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy said Friday he will vote against confirming Michael Mukasey as the next attorney general. President Bush's nomination of Mr. Mukasey, a former chief federal judge in New York, has gone from a sure-thing two weeks ago to yet another political battle between the White House and congressional Democrats.
