US denies deal as nine Iranians freed
Nine Iranians held in Iraq have been released by the US military, signalling a possible change in tone between the bitter rivals. Two of the men were among five Iranians captured in the northern city of Arbil in January. They were held on suspicion of arming and funding Shiite militias.
