MI paramedic shoots, then treats robbery suspect
A Flint man held up a gas station, then led police on a chase. At some point he confronted the sheriff's office paramedic with a gun. The suspect refused to drop his gun, so the paramedic shot him several times, then proceeded to treat him. The paramedic is a military reservist and sharpshooter who served in Iraq. The suspect was hospitalized in critical condition.I'm sure there's a lawsuit in this case somewhere. I was surprised to learn of armed paramedics in the US.
