LI men execute 'criminal' in Bara
Lashkar-e-Islam (LI) activists headed by Mangal Bagh on Sunday executed a man allegedly involved in cases of murder, robberies and kidnapping for ransom in the Bara tehsil of Khyber Agency, sources said. Sources said a tribal jirga read out a verdict against Riaz alias Riazay before a firing squad of veiled LI men executed him in the Nala Khwar area of Bara. The masked men opened fire on the accused in the presence of hundreds of tribesmen. He alleged that Riaz had kidnapped seven women from a house in Bara Qadeem and had forced them to dance naked in a Hujra (brothel).Posted by: Fred 2007-12-10 |
