Canada bans three Palestinian groups
Hat tip to Damian Penny, EFLThree Palestinian resistance groups have been added to the banned list by Canada, meaning that it is now a criminal offence to belong to or assist them in any way. The Palestine Liberation Front, Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and Popular Front for the Liberation of PalestineâGeneral Command on Thursday joined 31 other groups on the list of organizations banned by Canada. Federal Solicitor-General Wayne Easter said that the groups have âknowingly engaged in terrorist activityâ and warned that there are âsevere penalties [for people who] participate in, contribute to, or facilitate the activities of a listed entity."
