Christmas lights have unsafe levels of lead
I dunno, I dun chewed on 'em all the time and nuttin' ever dun happened ta mee!I thought it was just corrupt Chinese manufacturing, but maybe not. Anyway, keep your kids away from them. The levels of lead are not to be taken lightly this article suggests. Use gloves and/or wash your hands after handling them. Beat the kids if they get near them. You might consider going back to the old-fashioned way and put lighted candles on your tree - just make sure you do it in the front yard and away from the house! :-) Posted by: gorb 2007-12-11 |
