Mehsud will support polls in Tribal Areas
SAROKAI: Militant commander Baitullah Mehsud has assured the government that he will support the election process in the tribal areas, former parliamentarian Maulana Mirajud Din said on Wednesday. A delegation led by Miraj called on Baitullah Mehsud at an unknown place, and discussed law and order issue with him, Online reported. Later, Miraj said that the meeting decided that the elections would be held peacefully in the area. The Mehsud tribe had earlier announced not to support the elections.
