Anniversary celebrations for the Fatah movement turned violent in the southern in the Gaza city of Khan Yunis after nightfall Monday, and medics said three people were killed. Medics identified the three as two Hamas police officers and a Fatah backer. Hamas said the two officers were shot by gunmen on rooftops. About 30 people were wounded, the medics said. There were also exchanges of fire in Gaza City, where one person was killed, hospital officials said. He was not immediately identified.
