Turkish forces arrest prominent Kurdish figure
 (KUNA) -- Turkish authorities arrested on Saturday a prominent Kurdish official from the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). According to Turkish newspaper (hurriyet) on its website, the Turkish police arrested a 50-year-old man who was a prominent figure in PKK in the city of Gazianteb, south of Turkey. During a raid of the man's house, various weapons were confiscated, including weapons caches, drugs, and illegal leaflets. On a different front, Turkish military chief of staff said today that Turkish forces were conducting combing operation when they discovered few klashnikovs and substances to develop hand-made bombs in Hakkari province east of Turkey.
