Abused dog in Iraq tracks friendly GI 70 miles away across desert

As for whoever insisted on getting rid of the dog: Not all rules really need to be followed, you heartless ba$tard. If that dog can find this guy over 70 miles of desert in his condition, I'm sure you can find a way to protect the dog. As for your threat to kill the dog in four days: Makes you the big man, doesn't it? Oh, I forgot: you had no choice. And when you're deciding how you're going to mess with that Marine for going around you to save the dog, remember that he's going to have one heck of a platform to beat on you with one of these days, and that some day you'll find that you will have to live with yourself.
