Para-Military Soldier Arrested With IED in Kashmir
In first incident of its kind, a para-military soldier was arrested with an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) and a grenade in South Kashmir.A police officer told NewsBlaze that during routine frisking of passengers at Pulwama in South Kashmir, a para-military soldier was found possessing an IED weighing about a half kilogram fitted in a steel glass. "A hand grenade was also recovered from his possession," the police officer said. He said that the para-military soldier was immediately taken into custody. "He is being questioned to know where from he got the IED and where he had to transport it. It is being established whether he was working for any militant group," the police officer said.
