1 Russian soldier killed in Dagestan, another wounded
A troop detail was attacked in Dagestan (a North Caucasian republic, bordering Chechnya), a source at the republicâs interior ministry told RIA Novosti. One serviceman died and one was injured. "Yesterday at 6.00 p.m. the body of a 19-year-old conscript junior sergeant was found with a gunshot wound on the fourth kilometre of the Buinaksk-Untsukul road near a military vehicle belonging to the Russian defense ministry. Another conscript soldier, who served with him, was found at the same place with a similar wound and in a grave condition," a ministry spokesman said.
