Bhutan denies reports that prince was wounded
Bhutanese officials in New Delhi on Sunday denied reports that the second son of King Jigme Singye Wangchuk had been injured in the week-old military offensive to evict anti-India rebels. "From the information available with us, Prince Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck is not directly involved in the flushing out operation as he is a member of the militia that guards vital installations. He is not taking part in the military action," said an official at the Bhutanese embassy who did not want to be named.
