New government will withdraw army from Swat: ANP president
The new government will withdraw the army from Swat and end violence in the name of war and terror, Awami National Party (ANP) President Asfandyar Wali said on Thursday. Talking to reporters after a meeting with a US congressional delegation at Frontier House, he said the problems in South Waziristan should be resolved politically rather than by use of power. I hate [the phrase] war against terrorism, he said, adding that he had told the US delegation what the ANPs stance was.
