Babak seeks world help in talks with militants
The international community should help the NWFP Government in their peace negotiations with the Taliban, Geo News quoted NWFP Information Minister Sardar Hussain Babak as saying. Babak told a ceremony in Swabi that the government was negotiating with the Taliban because it wanted peace in the region. Pashtuns are a peace-loving people and want the region to prosper, he said.
