Village leader gunned down in southern Thailand
Southern terrorists separatists shot and killed a village headman in Pattani provinces Kapho district while he was riding home on his motorcycle on Wednesday morning. Police have identified the dead victim as Roh-saman Nipor. He died at the scene after suffering several bullet wounds around the Kok Wua-Khao Din route. Authorities are now tracking down possible escape routes used by the perpetrators in hopes of making arrests.
