TTP institutes two-month 'beard deadline'
BAJAUR: The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) warned people on Sunday against shaving their beards, giving people two months to comply with their directive. TTP spokesman Maulvi Umar said that any violation after the two-month deadline would be punished. The TTP has earlier warned barbers against shaving customers beards as this was against Shariah law.
