Christian minister killed in Pakistan
Gunmen shot and killed a Christian clergyman at a railway station Monday in a central city of Pakistan, police said. No one claimed responsibility for the slaying of Mukhtar Masih, a Protestant minister who was heading to the eastern city of Lahore from Khanewal, a small city about 50 km west of Multan. His body was found in Khanewalâs rail station Monday morning. ``Apparently, it seems that it an act of terrorism, but we are still investigating,ââ Mohammed Shahzad, a deputy superintend police in Khanewal, told The Associated Press by phone. There was no indication of who the killers were.
